How long have you worked at Accounted4, and what is your favourite thing about working here?
I’ve worked at Accounted4 for 6 months now, in Jamie and Grant’s team, and up until recently was the office newbie. Not only am I learning heaps – particularly about farm accounting –but I am also loving the positive and supportive culture here at A4.
Why accounting?
You could say that accounting runs in the family as my brother is also an accountant, and my grandad worked as a tax advisor when he finished on the family farm in North Canterbury.
I have always managed the family finances and like working with numbers. I also have a keen interest in personal finance, investments, and property, so started a business degree in 2018 when my youngest turned 5.
What do you when you’re not at work?
I have three sons who will soon to be attending 3 different schools in Cambridge – wish me luck!
Between juggling work, family, and study to become a chartered accountant I don’t have a lot of spare time but can often be found out walking my dog or being active with my kids. I love attending live sports and gigs and try to train 4 times a week at F45. I also occasionally join the office pub quiz team!
