Loud Shirt Day
We hosted a LOUD Shirt Day in the office on the 27th of October, to raise funds and support all New Zealanders who access sound with cochlear implants.
Halloween Cupcake Decorating Competition
With our resident master baker, Sara, being part of the social club, it was only natural for her to suggest a cupcake decorating competition for Halloween! Thankfully she baked the cupcakes and judged, rather than showcasing her own exceptional decorating skills.. Congrats to Lisa in 1st place with the spider, Ann-Marie in 2nd with her witches hat and Samara in 3rd with her pumpkin.
Melbourne Cup
We brought the Melbourne Cup to Cambridge and dressed in our best for the occasion! Congratulations to Kim who took out Best Dressed with her theme of Blue!
Christmas Party
WOW, the 1950's sure were fun! This year we celebrated Christmas with the office at a classic car museum, featuring HUGE machinery, amazing cars, great food, dancing and lots and lots of neon!
Xero Roadshow
Ann-Marie and Sara recently went on an out of office excursion and attended the Xero Road show in Hamilton. It was a great chance to network, listen to inspiring speakers and learn some great new content and ways to make the most of Xero for our clients. They also bumped into a familiar face, Alice, a past employee that some of you will remember!
Desk Decorating
We love a bit of friendly competition in the office, (some even more than others ha-ha). We teamed up into colour groups and decorated our spaces, I must say, all teams went over and above this year and we ended up with some amazingly creative spaces! Congrats to the GOLD team who took out 1st place.
Christmas Lunch
On the 14th of December we celebrated our full team Christmas lunch, here at A4 in the tea room. A huge thank you to Geoff, Sara, Samara & Gina, our amazing social club who organized a delicious Christmas lunch, complete with all the trimmings. It is a lovely chance to get together as a team and celebrate the year we have just had, as well as looking forward to what the new year will bring. We also did a secret Santa, which is always heaps of fun. A lot of thoughtful gifts given and received, great food, wonderful company & heaps of laughs, what a perfect way to end the year!
Farewell Eve
Sadly, today we said goodbye to the lovely Eve, who is off on a new adventure in Australia with her husband Dan. All the best across the ditch Eve, we have all enjoyed working with you here for the last couple of years as well as your extra-curricular contributions to our social netball team, quiz team and of course, Tuesday trivia, you will be missed!
