Farewell Ruby
In April, we said farewell to Ruby, who has been a cherished member of our admin team at Accounted4 for the past five years.
We will miss Ruby's cheerful, warm & caring nature around the office but are very excited for her as she embarks on a new journey with her family, across the ditch in Australia.
We look forward to hearing about Ruby's new adventures and know she won't be a stranger.
Welcome Jacqualine
We are excited to introduce Jacqualine East who has recently joined the Accounted4 team. Jacqualine was born and raised in Papakura and has called the Waikato region her home for the past decade. Jacqualine has an impressive academic background, holding a Bachelor of Applied Information Technology (BAppIT) and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcct) with First Class Honors.
When she's not at work, Jacqualine enjoys spending time with her diverse menagerie of pets. Her household includes two turtles, a kitten, a husky puppy, and two tropical fish tanks. Welcome Jacqualine, we are so pleased to have you on board!

Congratulations to Sara who has recently achieved a significant milestone in her accounting career by gaining her Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification!
With relentless dedication and determination, Sara conquered the exams and handled the juggle of studying and working full time, like an absolute champ!

Social Bowls with Lewis Lawyers
Back in March, we joined forces with Lewis Lawyers for a fun evening of lawn bowls that was all about good times and great company! It was the perfect event for the whole family, filled with laughter, cheers, and a healthy dose of friendly competition.

Congratulations to Gina who has recently gained her CA qualification!
We're also bidding her a fond farewell as she sets off for Palmerston North after two fantastic years with Accounted4. Gina's hard work and dedication have been evident every step of the way, and her presence will be greatly missed. All the best on this new journey, Gina!
BIG DAY OUT
Our team recently escaped the office for our annual Big Day Out in Rotorua!
From swinging golf clubs at the driving range to a delicious lunch at The Fainting Goat, then soaring through the treetops with Rotorua Canopy Tours, our day was packed with excitement, adventure and A LOT of laughs.
We started our day at the driving range. Amidst friendly competition and laughter, we tested our golfing skills, (the results varied quite significantly). It was the perfect way to kick off our day of adventure.
After working up an appetite, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Fainting Goat. Excellent food and great company.
The highlight of our day was definitely the thrilling zip-lining experience with Rotorua Canopy Tours. As we flew through the trees high above the forest floor, we felt the rush of adrenaline while taking in the stunning natural scenery. With the help of the enthusiastic staff, we developed a greater appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.
A huge THANK YOU to our Business Manager Chris for organizing such an amazing event and to the Directors for their generosity in providing us with such an incredible experience, inspiring us to step outside our comfort zones and create lasting memories together!

Pink Shirt Day
Pink Shirt Day, on Friday 17th May brought a wave of pink not just to our office but also across the whole of Cambridge. It's incredible to see how a small act of kindness, (originating from Canada where two students wore pink shirts to support a classmate who was bullied for wearing pink), has grown into a global movement against bullying and discrimination.
This goes to show the effect that even the most simple acts of kindness can have in creating significant change in people's lives. We are very proud to support this great cause!

We're excited to celebrate a major milestone for Martyn, one of our fantastic Directors, who has just ticked over 20 years with Accounted4.
Starting in 2004, Martyn’s journey to becoming a Director highlights his loyalty, dedication and leadership. Martyn's strong work ethic paired with embracing new technologies has played a huge part in our firm's success, but it’s not just about the numbers with Martyn. He is a valued mentor and team builder, whose drive, and positive vibe has helped to make our workplace supportive and fun.
