Casual Day Donations
At Accounted4, we believe in giving back to our community, we’re excited to share how our Social Club is making a difference. Recently, we made donations of $200 each to five incredible charities that are close to our hearts. Gumboot Friday, St John Ambulance, Cambridge Riding for the Disabled, Waikato Rescue Helicopter, and Kids in Need.
Gumboot Friday
Gumboot Friday is an initiative that provides free counseling for young people in need. Mental health is a critical issue, especially for our youth, and we’re proud to support this charity. The work they do is vital in helping young people navigate tough times and find hope for the future.
St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance is a cornerstone of emergency services in New Zealand. Their rapid response teams and healthcare services are there when we need them the most. Our donation is a small way of saying thank you for the life-saving work they do every day.
Cambridge Riding for the Disabled
Cambridge Riding for the Disabled offers therapeutic horse riding for people with disabilities. This unique form of therapy provides both physical and emotional benefits, helping participants to gain confidence, strength, and independence. We’re thrilled to contribute to this amazing local initiative.
Waikato Rescue Helicopter
The Waikato Rescue Helicopter is often the difference between life and death in emergency situations. Their ability to reach remote areas and provide critical care is invaluable. Our donation supports their mission to save lives and offer reassurance to those in dire circumstances.
Kids in Need
Kids in Need focuses on supporting children who are facing challenging circumstances, providing them with essentials like clothing, school supplies, and toys. Every child deserves a chance to thrive, and we’re honored to play a part in bringing a smile to their faces.
At Accounted4, our Social Club is more than just about having fun, it’s about making a positive impact in our community. These donations reflect our commitment to supporting the organisations that do so much for those in need. We’re proud to stand behind these charities and look forward to continuing our efforts to give back. #solidarity
Xero - Invoicing Workshop
On the evening of Wednesday 14 August we held a very successful and popular Xero Training Workshop covering Invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
We hosted this workshop in association with the Cambridge Business Chamber as part of their Annual Digital Business Series.
Our presenters, Alex Lamont, Samara McKenzie and Katie Jones (left to right) did an outstanding job and we are very proud of them.
Keep an eye out on our website for details of our next Xero Training Workshop.
Frank Risk Annual Table Tennis Tournament
In August, Geoff (far right) had a great time at the 9th annual table tennis tournament, hosted by the team at Frank Risk Management. The night was all about fun, friendly matches, and supporting a great cause.
The event managed to raise over $10,000 for Big Buddy, which is just incredible. For those who don’t know, Big Buddy pairs boys without fathers with awesome male role models, helping them build confidence and resilience. It’s such a worthwhile cause, and it was awesome to see everyone rally around it.
Congrats to Cambridge Pinot Noir for taking the top spot and to Smart Loyalty for winning the plate.
