Cambridge Chamber Golf Day

Last week a team of four from Accounted4 traded in their office chairs for golf carts to attend the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce networking event and fundraising day for St John’s. The event brought together local professionals for some friendly competition, good conversation, and, most importantly, a chance to raise money for a great cause.

The day was packed with action as we played two exciting formats: Ambrose and the infamous Yellow Ball. Ambrose, which mixes strategy and skill, kept things lively, but the real fun kicked off with the Yellow Ball fundraiser. The Yellow Ball event added an extra layer of challenge and excitement, with each team taking turns to play with the specially designated yellow ball, if you lost the ball, you lost points! It was a bit of a gamble, but it definitely brought some good-natured competition to the course.

This year, St John’s Cambridge is the chosen charity for the 2025 Annual Golf Tournament, and all proceeds from the event went towards supporting their life-saving services in the community. We were proud to be part of such a fantastic initiative and to contribute in our own way.

Networking events like these are not only about business connections – they’re about building relationships with like-minded people while supporting the causes that matter. And in between the swings and the putts, we definitely got a few good laughs in as well

We’ll be keeping our golf clubs ready for next year’s event – and hopefully, we’ll be a bit more skilled by then! Thanks to everyone who participated and supported St John’s. It’s always a great time for a great cause.
