Hinuera Natural Stone
Hinuera Natural Stone is a manufacturer of unique and natural cladding, landscaping and feature stone which provides distinctive good looks, timeless elegance and durability to your home, commercial building or landscaping project. The operation is based in the Hinuera Valley between Cambridge and Matamata and was established in 1955. The original product made was what we call today splitstone (which has a rough finish). With our precision cutting saws we are able to produce a smooth finish giving a more contemporary look. Currently there are 10 staff employed and with their specialist skills we also produce hand crafted products.
The business was purchased from Fletcher Building in 2008 and is in private ownership. Since then
with the introduction of new quarrying methods and high precision saws the stone can be
custom cut to suit individual needs. The stone is used nationally and so there are Hinuera Stone houses all over New Zealand. www.hinuera.co.nz 07 888 1843
